Following his travel through Germany, our founder Mr. Mohamed Hamouda saw an opportunity. He realized a gap in the Egyptian market for German-quality manufacturing.
After acquiring machinery from abroad, in coordination with German engineers, he Established Hamouda Plastics in 1946, previously known as Eastern Plastic Products. It was the first injection molding factory in Alexandria and still remains one of the oldest in Egypt.
Until today, it remains a family-owned business. The passion and interest for the business has been passed down three generations and allowed Hamouda Plastics to have a stronghold in the community
